Following the Covid-19 pandemic health crisis and the business growth in the ASEAN region, there is an increasing demand for alternative dispute resolution services in case of conflict. To resolve such conflicts outside of courts, companies or individuals can choose alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation and arbitration. Arbitration is a procedure in which a dispute is submitted, by agreement of the parties, to one or more arbitrators who make a binding decision on the dispute. Whereas mediation is a voluntary, non-binding process that allows parties to work with a neutral mediator to try to quickly (and often more cheaply) resolve the conflict on their own terms.

Our panel of experts will briefly explain these alternative dispute resolution methods and discuss the pros and cons of both. They will also present innovative solutions for dispute resolution following the pandemic and explain how Singapore and Switzerland play a key role in the development of alternative dispute resolution methods.

Join our webinar to hear insights from our panel of experts, Beatrice Herrmann (Managing Director & Founder, Gecco Pte Ltd and Shiok AG) and Julie Raneda (Partner, Schellenberg & Wittmer) in our webinar scheduled on Wednesday 6th of April at 5 PM.
