Business Excellence Awards 2021: Final Award Night is held in conjunction of Digital Transformation Award in collaboration with Deloitte, and People & Skills Development Award in collaboration with SkillsFuture Singapore.
Digital Transformation Award (DX) 2021 has received a total of 45 company nominations coming from Singapore & ASEAN region, ranging from startups, SMEs and MNCs from various sectors, with the aim to showcase their digitalisation efforts, to be recognised of achievements in entrepreneurship and digital transformation that are linked to Swiss values. Founder & Managing Partner of Hugo Capital PartnersAndreas is the Founder & Managing Partner of Hugo Capital Partners, an Investment and Advisory firm focused on digitally transforming Industrial and B2B companies in ASEAN. Previously, he acted as the Regional President ASEAN of Schaeffler and was a member of the Executive Management Board (EMM).
Andreas is actively engaged as a mentor at the German Accelerator SEA, advising Private Equity funds & Startups in SEA/AP as well as being an active investor himself. In addition, he is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID) and Chair of the SwissCham Digital Transformation award.
Before his move to Asia Andreas held various corporate leadership roles at Siemens, the 3M Company and Straumann in General Management, M&A and Management Consulting and worked as a COO for a AI/Data Analytics startup which he successfully excited to a strategic investor.
He then spent a number of years working for a Private Equity fund pursuing a distinctive Buy and Build strategy with a focus on operational value creation.
Andreas’s core interests and experiences are around IoT, Deep Tech, Robotics, B2B, Private Equity and helping companies and people thrive. He is fascinated by nature and travelling and is a passionate runner.
He graduated with an MBA from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and attended various executive courses at IMD (Lausanne), INSEAD (Paris), LBS (London) and Kellogg (US).

Rob has previously served as a member of Deloitte’s global board (Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited), Chief Transformation Officer for Deloitte Asia Pacific, Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer for Deloitte Australia and Managing Partner of Deloitte Consulting in Australia.
Rob is passionate about building world-class teams that deliver profound transformational change in large, complex enterprises. He is a leader in using digital technology to make his clients not only more competitive but also more responsive to the needs of their customers.
Rob has been involved in many public forums and presentations related to the information economy. He has written extensively, including authoring Information-Driven Business (Wiley 2010), and Co-authoring Information Development using MIKE2.0 (Motion 2013). He is a Fellow of the Australian Computer Society and is currently Chair of the board of the Australian Information Industry Association (the peak industry body for the technology sector in Australia).
