Dr. Beatrice Herrmann holds a doctoral degree (PhD) in Business Administration (Dr. rer. oec.) from the University of Berne, Switzerland.
She is an Accredited Associate Mediator of the Singapore Mediation Centre with an additional appointment to the SMC’s Family Panel of Mediators. She is also an accredited member of the Swiss umbrella organisation for Mediation (SDM-FSM) and the Swiss Chamber of Commercial Mediation (SKWM). She is also a Certified Executive Coach (ICF ACC).

Beatrice has been working in the business consulting industry for over 20 years with her own companies in Singapore and Switzerland. During that time, she worked closely with senior management across multiple jurisdictions, cultures, and industries. She has managed projects for insurance companies, wealth management advisors, as well as for corporate and institutional banking providers. Before founding and managing Gecco Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, Beatrice had worked for Accenture for the financial services industry across Europe.

During many Mediations and Coaching sessions, Beatrice has worked with a diverse group of individual clients, helping them to develop further. She is also giving workshops and webinars on internal conflict management and respective leadership development options.

She speaks English and German fluently and is able to communicate in French and Spanish. She also understands and speaks some Italian and Mandarin.

Julie Raneda is a partner in Schellenberg Wittmer's international arbitration practice in Singapore. She represents clients in international commercial and investor-state arbitrations.
Julie has been involved as counsel in complex arbitrations seated in civil and common law jurisdictions and also acts as an arbitrator. Her main areas of expertise include construction and engineering, energy, pharmaceutical/life sciences, manufacturing and international sales.
After completing a degree in international relations at the Graduate Institute Geneva, Julie graduated with a law degree from the University of Geneva. Julie was admitted to the Swiss Bar in 2011 and to the Singapore bar in 2016 (foreign lawyer). She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb).
Julie is the chair of the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA) South East Asia Chapter and the co-chair of the IPBA Next Generation Committee. Julie is AIJA's National Representative in Singapore and a co-founder of the Women's Business Society established in Geneva in 2012.

He was called to the Singapore Bar in 1989 and has over three decades of extensive experience in dispute resolution. He has appeared as lead counsel in all levels of the Singapore courts and in international arbitrations and mediations.

As an IMI-certified mediation advocate and an IMI-certified mediator, he has been involved in over 700 cases as mediation counsel, mediator and conciliator in a wide range of disputes.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a Distinguished Fellow of the International Academy of Mediators and a Weinstein JAMS International Fellow. He is on the international panels of many distinguished arbitration and mediation institutions, including Singapore International Mediation Centre, AAA-ICDR, CAO (World Bank Group), the Global Mediation Panel of the Office of the Ombudsman for the United Nations Funds and Programmes.

He has been ranked for his dispute resolution practice in The Legal500 and received recognition by Who’sWhoLegal:Mediation (WWL) since 2016. In 2020, WWL recognised him as one of three leading individuals in Singapore’s mediation landscape. In 2022, WWL recognised him as a Global Elite Thought Leader.

He currently serves the mediation community as Chair of the Society of Mediation Professionals (Singapore), member of IMI’s Independent Advisory Committee, an executive committee member of the board of the Singapore Mediation Centre, a governor of the International Academy of Mediators (USA), a member of the Mediation Committee Advisory Board of the International Bar Association (IBA), and Editorial Board member of IBA’s Dispute Resolution International.

He is a contributor to various publications on his areas of practice, including Singapore Civil Procedure (Thomson Reuters Sweet & Maxwell), Mediation in Singapore: A Practical Guide (Thomson Reuters Sweet & Maxwell), Mediation Practice (International Chamber of Commerce), and Stories Mediators Tell (World Edition) (American Bar Association).
